Description
This early to mid-19th century shop is located on the south side of Cliffe High Street in Lewes. It has a grey brick facade with red dressings and a wooden eaves cornice above a slate roof, featuring a chimney stack on the left side. The building is three storeys high and has a two-window front. It contains glazing bar sash windows within red dressings, and a balcony above the ground floor, featuring a decorative cast-iron balustrade with anthemion motifs. A 20th-century double shopfront incorporates a glazed door. The building is included on the list for its group value.
