Description

This early 19th century shop and attached dwelling is located on the north side of Brightlingsea High Street. The building is constructed of plastered brick, with a hipped roof covered in grey slate and a red brick chimney stack. It is two storeys high. The first floor has three small, vertically sliding sash windows with multiple panes. The left side features a three-panelled door with reveal panels and a moulded surround. To the right is a shop front with five pilasters, round-headed windows containing vertical glazing bars, a panelled door with a top light, and a fascia. The building is included on the list for its group value.
