Description

This is an early to mid-19th century shop and house, now a house. It is constructed of red brick with a slate roof. The building is two storeys high. It has integral brick end-stacks to both the right and left sides; the left stack is larger and semi-integral. The front has two window bays. There are glazing bar sashes with brick flat arches above the windows, and a four-pane shop window to the right, with a panelled pilastered surround, fascia, and cornice. A central four-panel door, with lower flush panels, is set within a doorcase consisting of panelled pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. The building is included on the list for group value.
