Description

No. 4 Bridge Street is a late 18th or early 19th century cottage located on the north-west side of Bridge Street in Clun. It is constructed of uncoursed sandstone rubble with a slate roof. The cottage features an integral brick end-stack on the left and a large, semi-integral brick end-stack on the right, comparable to No. 2 Bridge Street. The cottage has two storeys and a two-window front. The first floor windows are mid-to-late 19th century two-light wooden casements. The ground floor windows are mid-to-late 19th century three-light wooden casements with recessed tympana within segmental heads. A central boarded door is topped by a flat hood. The building is included on the list for group value.
