Description

Nos 16 and 17 on Cliffe High Street are early 19th-century shops. They feature channelled stucco with a moulded wooden cornice at the parapet, which conceals the roof. The building has three storeys and a regular two-window front, with sash windows set in moulded wooden surrounds. There is a very deep wooden fascia above the ground floor, which has a 20th-century double shopfront with an inset central glazed door. These shops are included for their group value.
