Description
26 and 27 Cliffe High Street are a pair of houses that have been converted into shops. They date from the early 19th century and are constructed with a timber frame and slate hung exterior, topped with a slate roof that is hipped to the right. There are brick stacks at the rear on both the left and right sides. The building has three storeys and features a two-window front with glazing bar sashes, including a tripartite arrangement on the first floor. On the ground floor, there are two flush shopfronts with half-glazed doors on the left and right; the door on the right is slightly recessed and angled at the corner. The right side of the building is rendered.
