Description
This early 19th-century shop and house is located on the west side of Martock Road in Long Sutton. It is built of local lias stone, squared and cut, with a clay pantile roof between stepped coped gables. A central chimney stack rises from the roof. The building is two storeys high and has an irregular arrangement of windows. The upper floor has sash windows with 16 panes, set beneath timber lintols. The lower bay of the façade has a dovetailed stone lintol above its window. A mid-20th century shopfront occupies the first two bays, with a recessed centre doorway beneath a plain fascia. To the right of the third bay is a boarded door set in a plain surround with a voussoired flat arch. The interior has not been inspected.
