Description
Glovington House is a semi-detached house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from local lias stone that is cut and squared, topped with a clay pantiled roof. The roof features an abutment to the south and a stepped coped gable to the north, along with brick chimney stacks at both ends and in the middle. The house has an 'L' plan layout, stands two storeys high, and consists of three bays. The windows are sash style with 16 panes, set in plain surrounds with dovetailed stone lintels. There is a boarded door in a matching opening at the lower bay 1. At the rear, there are two-storey and single-storey extensions, which appear to be part of the original building. The interior has not been seen.
