Description
Jackie Fashion is a shop that was originally a house, built in the mid-18th century. It features squared, coursed lias stone with limestone quoins and a coped gable on the left side. The front is rendered, and it has a 20th-century tile roof with brick stacks at both the internal and end sides. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range, originally designed with a two-unit plan.
The ground floor has a large canted bay that is rendered but rests on 19th-century footings. In the center, there is a 20th-century part-glazed door, with 20th-century shop front windows on either side. On the first floor, there are 19th-century three-light casements on the left and right. The left gable end has a 20th-century window, while the first floor features an 18th-century sixteen-pane sash window. Inside, the building has chamfered beams. It is included in the register for its group value.
