Description
Sandra is a shop, likely originally a house, dated 1731. It is constructed of colourwashed brick in Flemish bond, featuring stucco quoins, a storey band, and a moulded eaves cornice. The building has an old tile roof that is hipped to the left and stands three storeys tall with a four-window range. On the ground floor, there are two early 19th-century part-glazed, panelled doors with margin bars, set back from early 19th-century paned shop front bays. The first floor has four 12-pane sash windows with flat brick arches and keyblocks, while the second floor also features four 12-pane sash windows. A datestone on the second floor to the right, which is shared with the adjoining building No.10 (Mallets), is inscribed 'JH/1731'. There is a one-unit, one-storey range at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
