Description
Bradleys Bazaar is a shop with a dwelling above, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of colourwashed brick in Flemish bond and features a dentilled eaves cornice. The building has a slate roof with a brick end stack and stands two storeys plus an attic, with a two-window range and a two-unit plan.
At the center, there is a 20th-century part-glazed door with a hood supported on a console to the left. To the right, there is a 19th-century shop front bay with original glazing bars, while to the left, in its original opening, is a 20th-century plate window with a brick flat arch. On the first floor, to the left, is a 12-pane sash window, and to the right is an early 19th-century bow window featuring original 8 and 12-pane sashes and glass. The building also has two 19th-century gabled dormers.
A mainly 20th-century brick range to the left is noted as not being of special architectural interest. Inside, there is a chamfered spine beam. The building is included for its group value.
