No. 17 High Street is a shop and offices dating from the late 18th century. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a Welsh slate roof with brick end stacks. It stands three stories tall and has a two-window range, with 20th-century three-light casements set under gauged brick flat arches. Above these, there are nine-pane sash windows, also under similar arches. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front with recessed doorways on both the left and right sides.
