Description

No. 17, Swan Hill is a late 18th-century house, now used as offices. It is constructed of brick with a plain tiled roof and has an L-shaped plan. The building is three storeys high. The doorway is located in the single-window short range, and there is a three-window range at right angles to it. The doorway has a panelled overlight, set within an architrave with rusticated pilasters supporting a projecting entablature. Above the doorway is a 12-pane sash window with a finely gauged brick head. Some windows in the longer range have been blocked, but all retain gauged brick heads.
