Description

No. 23 Mawdsley Street is a house, now used as offices, dating from around 1820. The building is cement-rendered over brick and features a slate roof. It has three storeys and a four-window range that is unequally spaced. The central entrance consists of a segmentally arched doorway framed by an architrave with engaged fluted columns and a central emblem in the frieze. The windows are 2-pane sash windows set in shouldered architraves. A moulded wood eaves cornice runs along the top, and there are end wall stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
