Description

No. 12 Broad Street is a house, now used as offices, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped plain tile roof with three brick lateral stacks. The building stands three storeys high and has a three-window range, with 8/8 sash windows in moulded cases under gauged brick flat arches, and 4/4 sash windows above. The eaves are adorned with brick modillion detailing. The early 20th-century shop front includes doors located at the center and right, with plate-glass windows and leaded clerestory lights. There is also a fascia-board and a moulded hood supported by twin stop-consoles on attached square columns. The right side of the building is rendered and features a 9-pane window.
