Description
The Grape Vaults Public House is an inn located on Broad Street in Leominster. The building features an 18th-century front with a 17th-century core. It is roughcast with a steep-pitched plain tile roof that has two ridge lines and brick end stacks at the rear. The structure has three storeys and a cellar, with a two-window range that includes 8/8 sash windows beneath keyed and grooved stucco lintels on the first and second floors. A stone-coped parapet crowns the building.
The entrance is situated to the center right and features an 18th-century six-panel door, while there is a blocked entrance to the center left. The front also has two 20th-century cross-windows with casements, along with a moulded fascia-board and a modillioned cornice supported by five fluted columns. The left side of the building has 20th-century brickwork over blockwork, while the right side features 20th-century weatherboarding and a spike-finial on the gable. Inside, there is timber work dating back to the 17th century.
