Description

No. 1 Drapers Lane is a shop and dwelling built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped Welsh slate gable roof. The building stands three storeys high and has a two-window range, with 6/6 sash windows set under gauged brick flat arches. There are additional 6/6 sashes and a brick modillion eaves. The early 20th-century shop front includes central half-glazed double doors with a leaded overlight, canted windows with ringed glazing shafts, and leaded clerestories, along with a moulded fascia board. The interior has not been inspected.
