Description
Nos. 3 and 5 Drapers Lane is a shop and dwellings, now used as a shop and offices, dating from the late 18th century. The building is constructed of brick and features a slate roof. It stands three storeys high and has a two-window range, with 6/6 sash windows in moulded cases under segmental arches, as well as additional 6/6 sashes in moulded cases. There is a brick band at the eaves. The late 19th-century shop front includes central part-glazed panelled double doors with an overlight, set back under a panelled soffit, flanked by canted plate-glass windows with moulded glazing bars. To the left is a part-glazed four-panel door with a plain overlight. The shop front is topped with a moulded fascia-board and hood featuring enriched stop-consoles. The interiors have not been inspected.
