Description
Antique Market Flats A and B is a building located on Broad Street in Leominster. It features an 18th-century front with a 17th-century core. The exterior is roughcast with a Welsh slate roof and a large central chimney stack. The building has three storeys and a cellar, with a four-window range that includes 8/8 sash windows set in broad moulded cases. There is a shallow jetty with a moulded bressumer band and a plastered soffit. The windows include a 4/4 sash, an altered 4/2 sash, and two 20th-century metal casements, all in broad moulded cases. The parapet has a moulded cornice.
The central entrance features early 20th-century double doors within an 18th-century doorcase that has a moulded wood pediment hood and moulded architrave. To the left, there is a late 19th-century shop front with a central part-glazed panelled door and overlight, flanked by canted windows with plain sashes. This shop front has a deep fascia board and a moulded hood supported by Ionic pilasters. To the right, there is a late 19th-century canted bay with a combination of 1/1, 2/2, and 1/1 sashes under moulded eaves. The interiors have not been inspected.
