Shop and dwelling, now restaurant and flat. Altered C18 front to C17 core. Roughcast; Welsh slate roof. 3 storeys and cellar; 2-window range: C18 8/12 sashes; C20 casements; boarded soffits to eaves. Late C19 shopfront: to left, glazed and panelled door and plain casement overlight; plate-glass window with moulded case and glazing shafts; moulded cornice and hood, on panelled pilasters, overall; to right, early C20 plank door, recessed under moulded cornice on pilasters. Rear: C17 timber-framed wing and cross-wing with ornate spurred quarter-bracing, and C19 fenestration. INTERIOR: rear wing: C18 panelling, and panelled double-doors with bolection-moulded architrave; altered C17 staircase with barley-sugar twist balusters and stop-moulded newel post; stop-moulded ceiling-frame.
