Description

46 and 47 High Street is a shop and dwelling built in the early 19th century. The building features painted brickwork and a slate roof, with a brick stack at the end. It has three storeys and a cellar, with a two-window range. The windows on the lower level are 8/8 sashes set under segmental arches, while the upper level has 3/6 sashes. The eaves are adorned with brick modillion. On the left side, No. 47 has an early 20th-century half-glazed door beneath a simple flat hood. On the right side, there is an early 20th-century shopfront that includes a central half-glazed door with an overlight, flanked by curved shop windows that feature clerestory casements.
