Description

No. 10 High Street is a shop and dwelling dating from the 18th century. The building is constructed of stucco and has a Welsh slate roof with a central gable. It stands two storeys high, with an attic and cellar, and features a three-window range. The early 20th-century canted bays have plain lights and a central casement. The eaves are adorned with wood modillions, which continue as a frieze to the central pediment that contains an 18th-century Venetian window with a central ogee-headed 9/6 sash. The shopfront, added in the 20th century, includes two part-glazed doors and large plate-glass windows, along with a fascia board supported by stop-consoles.
