Description

The Lamb Inn is a 17th-century inn, with an addition of a third storey in the 19th century. It is constructed of roughcast, with a slate roof having a steeper rear pitch, and a rendered stack to the rear wing. The building is three storeys high and has a two-window front. It features shallow canted bays with late 19th-century 2/2, 6/6, and 2/2 sash windows on the front. A 3/6 sash window is positioned above. The central left side contains an early 20th-century half-glazed panelled door. To the left of the door is a 19th-century bow-window with glazing bars and a cornice supported by wood brackets. To the right, there's an early 20th-century window with a moulded case and etched glass. The returned right side has roughcast, two fixed lights, and a plank door. The group value context is that the inn contributes to the character of the area.
