Description
No. 16 Broad Street is a shop and dwelling that features an early 19th-century front built around an 18th-century core. The building is constructed of brick and has a Welsh slate roof with a hipped gable facing the street. There is an 18th-century brick composite stack located at the right rear. The structure has three storeys and a two-window range, with 6/6 sash windows under segmental arches on the first and second floors. The shop front, restored in the 20th century, includes a half-glazed door with an overlight featuring glazing bars on the left, along with a window that has moulded glazing shafts. The shop front is topped with a fascia board and a moulded hood. The rear of the building is slate-hung and features a 3/3 sash window. The interior has not been inspected.
