Description

No. 1 Manor Street is a house, now used as offices, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and features a hipped pantile roof with a single side wall stack. The building has a wooden gutter supported by brackets. The windows are topped with brick flat arches and consist of a two-storey, three-window range of 12-pane sashes. On the ground floor, to the right, there is a moulded wooden doorcase with a cornice and a fielded six-panel door with an overlight. To the left of the door, there are two 12-pane sashes, with the lower lights reglazed with single panes. The interior is said to contain an 18th-century staircase with turned balusters.
