Description
Salop House is an office building dating from around 1900, designed in the Domestic Revival style. It features a timber frame with brick nogging, ashlar coping, and a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and has a three-window range. A prominent feature is the central square two-storey oriel window supported by curved brackets, which contains a two-light leaded window on each floor, with the upper lights being smaller. On either side of this oriel window, there is a similar single window on each floor. The ground floor includes a weatherstripped plank door with a leaded glazed overlight to the right, and to the left, a three-light leaded glazed window with wooden mullions. Salop House is included for its group value.
