Description

This is an early 19th-century house, now used as a shop with living space above, located on Swan Hill in Shrewsbury. The house is constructed of brick with a plain tiled roof. It has two storeys and a three-window front, with a prominent raised pediment in the centre, featuring a lunette (a circular, ornamental opening) within the pediment. The ground floor has paired casement windows, and there is a possible blocked doorway with a surviving flat arch between the windows. A single casement window sits above the centre. Narrow, blind side bays flank the main façade, and a doorway has been inserted into the right-hand section. A string course runs across the entire front of the building. The gables are coped, and the eaves have a dentilled cornice.
