Description

This is an early 19th-century house, later used as a shop and flat. It has undergone alterations in the mid-19th century and again in the mid-20th century. The house is constructed of brick with a hipped slate roof. It is three storeys high and features a dentilled brick cornice. The first floor has a 20-pane sash window with a plastered wedge lintel and stone sill. The second floor has an 8-pane sash window. On the ground floor, an entrance passage is on the right with a six-panelled door. To the left of the entrance is a canted bay window with a moulded cornice and a 16-pane sash window facing forward. The main entrance is roughly central, approached by two stone steps with a 24-pane overlight and a two-leaf door.
