Description

Numbers 91 and 92 are a pair of houses, originally one timber-framed building, dating to the early 17th century. The front was altered in the early 19th century, with later alterations in the late 20th century. The construction is timber-frame with painted brick infill, partly clad in painted brick, and covered by a tile roof.

The house has two storeys and three windows on the upper floor, featuring two 2-light casements and a single-light fixed casement. On the ground floor, the central entrance leads to a passage and has a wooden architrave and a 20th-century ledged and boarded door. To the left is an entrance to number 92 with a glazed door, and a 3-light casement window to the right. The right-hand portion (number 91) features two fixed 3-pane windows, with an entrance between them, having a wooden architrave and a 4-panel door, the upper two panels glazed. The timber framing is visible on the first floor of number 91, displaying three square panels in height.
