Description

This is a house located at 85 Welch Gate, built in the late 18th century with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. The structure is constructed of brick and has a tiled roof. It features two storeys and includes a dentilled brick cornice and a band at the ground floor level. There are two windows on the upper floor, which are 2-light casements set beneath segmental heads. On the ground floor, there is a 3-light fixed casement window to the right and a canted oriel window with a moulded cornice to the left. The central entrance is framed by a wooden architrave with a soldier course above, topped with a triangular canopy supported by wooden brackets, leading to a stable door.
