Description
This is a house located at 84 Welch Gate in Bewdley, dating from the early 18th century but refronted in the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the late 20th century. The building is constructed of brick and has a tile roof. It is two storeys high and features a dog tooth brick cornice.
There are three windows on the upper floor, which are 2-light casements. On the ground floor, there are two windows: to the left, there is a timber cross-window with a segmental head, and to the right, a bow window that has a moulded cornice. The entrance, which is slightly to the left of centre, is approached by two stone steps and features a moulded wooden architrave and an open pedimented canopy supported by two scrolled brackets, with a half-glazed door from the 20th century. There is another entrance located at the right-hand corner, which has a wooden architrave with a flat canopy on wooden brackets and a 20th-century ledged and boarded door.
