Description

Two houses, now a house, flat, and shop, dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th and mid-20th centuries. The buildings are constructed of brick and have a tile roof. They are two storeys high with an attic, featuring three gabled dormers. The front has three windows on the upper floor: a glazing bar sash window on the left, and two sashes with tripartite glazing to the right, all set under segmental arches. On the ground floor, a canted bay window is situated to the left. Immediately to its right is the entrance to number 88, featuring a wooden architrave and a 20th-century glazed door. To the right of that (number 87) are two sashes with tripartite glazing, followed by a pilastered shop front. An entrance to the left has a four-panel door under a cornice. The buildings are included on the list for their group value.
