Description

These are two houses dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the late 20th century. They are constructed of brick with a tile roof, and feature a central chimney stack. The houses have two storeys and two windows each. A decorative dog tooth brick cornice runs along the top. The windows are 3-light casements; those on the ground floor are set beneath segmental arches. Entrances are located in the left and right-hand corners. The entrance to the left-hand house (number 82) is approached by two stone steps, and features a wooden architrave, a triangular canopy supported on wooden brackets, and a ledged and boarded door. The entrance to the right-hand house (number 81) is similar, but without the steps.
