Description

Two mid-18th century houses with alterations in the late 20th century. The houses are constructed of brick with a tile roof and a central stack. They are three storeys high and feature brick coped verges, a dentil brick cornice, and two windows on each front. The left-hand window is a 16-pane boxed sash with a segmental head. The right-hand window is a 2-light casement, also with a segmental head. The second floor has horizontally sliding sashes. The ground floor features 16-pane boxed sashes with segmental heads. The entrance to the left corner (number 22) has a moulded wooden architrave and a flat canopy supported by scroll brackets, leading to a six-panel door. The entrance to the right corner (number 23) mirrors this design but with the upper four panels of the six-panel door glazed.
