Description

This is a late 17th-century house with later 18th-century and mid-20th-century alterations. It is constructed of brick and has a tile roof. The house is two storeys high, with a cellar, and has a gabled attic lit by two dormers. A moulded wooden cornice runs along the top, and bands define the ground and first floors. There are two windows on the front. The windows are timber cross-windows with cambered heads. The ground floor has a tripartite sash window to the right, set under a cambered head, with Gothic glazing bars. To the left is a moulded wooden architrave with an overlight, but no door is present. A recessed four-panel door with raised and fielded panels opens into a passage at the back of the house. To the right of this is a glazed door, leading to the front room. The interior features exposed stopped and chamfered spine beams with run-out stops. A built-in 18th-century corner cupboard is found in the rear room, with fluted pilasters and a semi-circular headed door.
