Description
Two houses, built in the early 18th century with alterations in the mid-19th century and some in the mid-20th century. The houses are constructed of painted brick with a tile roof, and have rear chimneys. They are two storeys high with an attic, which is lit by a flat-roofed dormer window on the right side. The front has a dentilled brick cornice and a band running along the first floor. A band at ground floor level has been removed and the area rendered. There are two windows on the front, both with 9-pane, boxed sash windows set under segmental arches. Two windows have been blocked up and also have segmental arches. The ground floor has a 4-light casement window under a segmental arch on the left, and a window to the right with pilasters, a flat canopy, and a 3-light casement window dating from the 20th century. The entrance to number 14 has a wooden doorcase with pilasters and an open pediment above a radially glazed fanlight and a six-panel door. The entrance to number 15 has a flat canopy supported by scroll brackets and a two-panel door.
