Description

The Methodist Chapel is a non-conformist chapel built in the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of stuccoed brick and features a hipped slate roof. The building has two storeys above a basement and is adorned with a moulded cornice. There are three windows on the upper floor, which are multi-pane Gothick glazed metal framed casements set beneath plastered segmental heads that include keystones and impost blocks. The ground floor has a central entrance that features a pilastered wooden doorcase, consoles supporting an open pediment, and a fanlight that is radially glazed above a six flush panelled door.
