Description

Two houses, built in the early 18th century and extended in the mid-18th century, with later 19th-century and 20th-century alterations. The houses are constructed of brick with a tile roof and have gable end stacks.

At number 68, the garden front features a dentilled brick cornice and three windows on the first floor. These are boxed 16-pane sashes, with a boxed glazing bar sash in the centre, all set under segmental heads. The ground floor has a sash window with tripartite glazing under segmental heads to the left, a 16-pane sash in the centre, and a central entrance with a flat-roofed, glazed porch. The wooden architrave to the entrance has panelled reveals and a panelled door.

Number 70 has a stepped brick cornice and irregular fenestration. It has three windows on the first floor which are 20th-century glazing bar sashes. The ground floor has three sashes – two 16-pane sashes and one glazing bar sash – and a central entrance with a plain wooden architrave and a 20th-century door.
