Description
This is a late 17th to early 18th century house, located on the east side of Westbourne Street in Wribbenhall, Bewdley. It was originally listed as a cottage at the rear of Lowe’s Ropeworks. The house is timber-framed with painted brick infill and a machine tile roof. The north gable has a single storey, with a fixed casement window illuminating the attic. There are C19 bargeboards. The windows are two-light casements, with the window to the right having a pair of boarded shutters. The entrance, slightly left of centre, features a pilastered wooden doorcase with a flat canopy and a stable door. The original timber frame comprised two rectangular panels in height with straight tension braces.
