Description
The war memorial located northwest of the Church of All Saints in Bewdley is a First World War memorial, dating from around 1920. It is made of stone and features an octagonal base that is stepped. On top of this base is an octagonal pedestal that is inscribed with the names of men who were killed in the First World War. Above the pedestal, there is a smaller pedestal adorned with finely carved foliage and shields. At the very top stands a tall, slender Latin cross, which has a tapered shaft with an octagonal section and arms that are stopped at the ends. A sword is carved on the north side of the cross.
