Description

The Church of All Saints is a parish church built in 1878 by Arthur Blomfield. It is constructed from rock-faced red sandstone and features a machine tile roof. The church includes a nave, a north porch, a chancel, a south aisle, and a south chapel attached to the chancel, with a tower located at the north-east angle between the nave and chancel.

The tower has three stages, with the upper stage being octagonal and topped with a conical stone roof. Each facet of the tower features a trefoiled lancet window. The chancel consists of three bays that are divided by stepped buttresses on the north-west side, with the western buttress filled by the tower. The chancel windows are trefoiled lancets, and the east window contains three stepped trefoiled lancets. The nave has five bays, with the western bay containing a stone north porch, while the other bays feature windows with 2:3:3:2 trefoiled lights under segmental pointed heads. The south aisle has a catslide roof and square-headed windows, and the south chapel consists of three bays with trefoiled lancets.

Inside, there is a reported wrought-iron screen, and the east window likely features stained glass by John Hardman.
