Description
Two houses, built in the early 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and some later changes in the late 20th century. The houses are constructed of brick with a tile roof, featuring gable end stacks. They are three storeys high, with a gable lit attic and cellars. A dog tooth brick cornice runs along the top, and the roof has brick coped verges. There are five windows on each front; these are boxed sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath rubbed brick heads. The windows on the second floor are similar to those on the first floor. The ground floor central entrance leads to a passage, and has a moulded wooden architrave. Doorways to the houses are accessed from this passageway. Wrought iron railings with spearheads and urn finials are attached to the right-hand side of number 6.
