13/175 Gate piers, gates, wall and railings to east 24.3.70 of The Rectory 2.10.75 GV II

Gate piers, gates, wall and railings. Mid-C18 with early and mid-C19 alterations. Wall fronting Lower Park for about 45 metres, with entrance towards north end, returning about 15 metres to west. Wall: brick with stone coping about 1.5 metres high; entrance has two stuccoed brick piers with segmental pediments, gates of wrought iron, spearheaded rails, lower half of gate blind; return wall about 0.75 metres high capped by cast iron railings with scroll stanchions. Included for group value.
