Description

The walls, gate, and gate piers to the north and east of The Rectory date from around 1800. At the front, there are inner and outer stone-coped red brick piers connected by quadrant walls. The inner piers support a wrought iron gate. A garden wall extends to the east, featuring a single ramp. The stone coping continues to the south-east corner of the garden, after which the wall returns north without coping and extends to the back of the property. Inside the wall, there are sloped buttresses at intervals.
