Description

Garth End Farmhouse is a mid-19th century, two-storey house that may have an earlier core. It features three windows and has a fairly high pitched pantiled roof with stone gable copings and kneelers, along with end chimneys. The sash windows have stone lintels and cills, set within flush wood architraves. The central six-panel door is topped with a fanlight and flanked by side margins, all framed in a simple wood pilaster-and-entablature doorcase. The farmhouse occupies a prominent position on The Green.
