Description

The Rectory is a house that mainly dates from around 1800, although it may have an older core. It is constructed of light red brick and features a stone cornice, blocking course, copings, and kneelers at the end gables of its slated roof. The building has end chimneys and a narrow central bay flanked by wide outer bays, which have canted projections with three sash windows each. All windows include glazing bars, deep gauged brick arches, and rest on a stone cill band. The central door, dating from around 1900, is accompanied by sidelights and an oblong fanlight, all set within a chamfered stucco surround.
