Description
Northern Grange Farmhouse and No 44 is a traditional 18th century farmhouse with an attached cottage. The main house is two storeys high and features three wide windows. It has roughcast walls and a pantiled roof with chimneys at each end. The late 19th century windows have stone cills and are framed in wood architraves. The entrance includes a six-panel door topped by an oblong fanlight with margin lights, all set within a wood doorcase with fluted pilasters and an entablature. No 44, which is made from similar materials, has two windows on the first floor, featuring late 19th century sash windows in exposed box frames, and a modern door with a small window to the right. There is a car port and garage extension to the left of Northern Grange Farmhouse, which are not of interest.
