Description
Nos 13 and 14 on Dog Lane are two houses built in the early 18th century, with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. They are constructed of brick and feature a tiled roof with a stack at the rear. The buildings are two storeys high, with an attic that is illuminated by two gabled dormers. Architectural details include a dog tooth cornice, brick coped verges, and two windows on the upper floor that are 3-light casements set under segmental heads. On the ground floor, the windows mirror those above, and the entrance to no 14 is located at the left-hand corner, accessed by four stone steps. This entrance has a wooden architrave under a segmental head and a flat canopy, leading to a boarded door from the 20th century. The entrance to no 13 is situated in the gable wall to the right.
