Description
The Horn and Trumpet Public House is a building that likely dates from the early 18th century, with a refronting that occurred in the late 18th century and some alterations made in the late 20th century. It is constructed of brick and features a tile roof, with stacks located at the rear. The building stands three storeys tall and has brick coped verges and a dentilled brick cornice.
There are three windows on the front, which are glazing bar sashes with painted cambered heads. The second floor has similar windows, but they are lower in height and have timber lintels. On the ground floor, the glazing bar sashes are set under segmental heads. There are two entrances: one is located at the left-hand corner, while the other is situated between two windows to the left. The left-hand entrance features a pilastered doorcase with scroll brackets supporting a flat canopy, and it has a six raised and fielded panelled door. The entrance on the right also has a pilastered doorcase with scroll brackets and a flat canopy, leading to a two-leaf door.
