Description

Two houses, dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century and late 20th century. The houses are timber-framed with rendered infill, partially underbuilt in painted brick, and topped with a slate roof. Two rubble chimneys are located on the rear (south) wall. The north front is two stories high and contains four two-light casement windows. On the ground floor, there are four windows, all with two lights, except for the window to the left of the center, which is a three-light casement. The right-hand entrance is framed by pilasters and a moulded cornice, with a panelled door. The central entrance has a wooden doorcase with fluted pilasters and a moulded cornice, leading to a recessed six-panelled door set within panelled reveals. The timber framing is two square panels high on the first floor, likely originally jettied.
